My contribution to the Avondale Type Company Artist Series with my Initials M & S.
Since I could do anything, I decided to marry Medieval Inspired Fantasy with Art Nouveau.
I also though about the Jungian idea of Anima/Animus + Ego, Super Ego and Id, where:
M - The Female Aspect. Woman running with the Wolves. A Mage. Balancing the struggle, Ego.
& - The Animal Aspect. A Beast. Desire-driven Id.
S - Male Aspect. A Protector. A Knight. Rational Super Ego.
The character on the logo is a Divine Goddess. A Jungian archetype.
I used their script typeface Ripley.
